Broughton

Broughton Leadership Scholarship –

Awarded annually to two rising sophomores, theĀ Carl L. Broughton Leadership Scholarship is established in memorial to the late trustee of Marietta College who passed in 1996. Applicants must be pursuing either a minor in Leadership Studies or a major in International Leadership Studies as well as have a 3.0 GPA or greater and evident community and campus service. Recipients are selected by the McDonough Awards Committee.

libraryMarietta College President’s Scholarship –

After competing in the former Pioneer Scholars competition, students are awarded scholarships based on their performance in an essay and academic exchange with faculty. To uphold the scholarship, students must maintain at least a 3.0 GPA and remain in good standing with the college and community. All scholarships through the Pioneer Scholars program go to defraying tuition costs for full-time enrollment at Marietta College.

spirit weekMarietta College’s Innovator Award –

Awarded for involvement in Marietta College’s Office of Student Life through the Pioneer Activities Council and service as Social Media Director of the Advertising Committee. The Innovator Award is given to the student or students most deserving based on their campus involvement and especially their creativity, originality, and willingness and drive to make Marietta College a better place for its students. I was nominated individually and received the award as a member of the Advertising Committee.
