“Located on the Marietta College campus in Marietta, Ohio, the The McDonough Center for Leadership and Business was established in 1986 through a generous $5.5 million gift from Alma McDonough and the McDonough Foundation in honor of the successful industrialist, Bernard P. McDonough (1903-1985). Through his many businesses, Mr. McDonough established a strong record of leadership and civic engagement. Today, the Center celebrates this legacy by helping generations of college students study and practice leadership, while developing their own vision of their contribution to the campus community, the local community, and even beyond.” -Marietta College

The McDonough Leadership Center has taught me nearly everything I know about leadership. From early on in my freshman year, the staff has opened my eyes to the many different fields and applications of leadership with concepts such as Situational Leadership, The McDonough Leadership Model, and leading in different globalized contexts, among many others.

I was a 2016 McDonough Leadership Conference Guide and a 2016 EXCEL Conference Leader
