Dr. Miller is an Associate Fellow of the Institute for Combinatorics and its Applications and is a member of the American Mathematical Society and the Association of Christians in the Mathematical Sciences. He is also a member of the Mathematical Association of America and a past president of the Ohio Section of the MAA. His area of research is in Combinatorics and Finite Geometry. His most recent publication, Sparse Domination of (t,K) prisms appeared in the Winter 2006 issue of the ICA Bulletin , co-authored with Marietta graduate Casey Trail. Dr. Miller is currently Chair of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science. Prior to working in college-level academia, Dr. Miller was a consultant with an environmental information management firm in Colorado. Prior to that he was a high school mathematics and social studies teacher. Dr. Miller is secretary of the Marietta Reading Club. |
