Dr. Mark Miller - Associate Provost


Dr. Mark Miller, Associate Professor of Mathematics and current department chair of the MCIS department, has accepted a three-year appointment as Associate Provost for Academic Administration beginning July 1, 2011. Dr. Miller received his undergraduate degree from John Brown University and his master's and Ph.D. in applied mathematics from the University of Colorado at Denver.

He joined the Marietta College faculty as Assistant Professor of Mathematics in 1999 and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2004. He has served as mathematics department Chair, Chair of the Faculty, a member of the Vision 2020 task force, and Chair of the Mission and Integrity subcommittee for the reaccreditation self-study.
